Yes. Stair and post lights can usually be added to an existing deck. Under-board lighting is easier when we build the deck, because the wiring runs under the boards.
Gas and electrical connections are part of the plan and the proposal, and they are done by licensed professionals and inspected with the project.
Low-voltage LED lighting designed for outdoor use: stair riser lights, post cap and rail lights and recessed deck lights, on a timer or photocell so they come on at dusk.
Yes. If you think you may want one, tell us during the design. We can rough in the gas, water and power now so the kitchen can be added later without opening the deck.
It depends on the feature. Lighting and a bench add a few thousand dollars; an outdoor kitchen or a full lighting and fire pit package adds considerably more. Our deck cost guide lists real project totals with what each one included.
