My wife and I went with Techwood Decks because their proposal was very competitive and they were available to start right away. What began as a plan to replace our 40-year-old wooden deck turned into a full upgrade to PVC decking with a pergola on top. The whole project took about four weeks, from demo to framing and installing low-voltage lighting and the pergola. Everything moved along smoothly and on schedule. Kaio, the project leader, kept us updated throughout, and Cejana, the deck consultant, was incredibly helpful. Our contractor hired WL Pro Builders to build a deck in the backyard. Our first interaction with them was to confirm the specs, which we did after they provided a detailed design plan indicating foundations, structure and finishing. That was a very helpful step since we had discussed the footprint of the deck and generalities with our contractor, but we couldn’t visualize details until we saw them in that plan. We then discussed the next steps and details with Leandro and Leo who were managing our project. When they started building it, things went fast. They built the foundations and the structure, and checked with us that everything was ok along the way. The few times we wanted something slightly different, they were very forthcoming in discussing options and tradeoffs. After a choice was made, they took the time to make things as requested. At the end, we were extremely happy with the result and now have a deck we really love.

We used WL Pro Builders for both the design and the construction, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Initially, we considered Yardzen for the design, but we were concerned about the feasibility of a remote design given our backyard’s slopes. Fortunately, we found WL Pro Builders, and their services were not only reasonably priced but also competitive with Yardzen. The best part was that they came onsite to take measurements and provide feedback on what was possible given our layout. They provided 3D renderings and construction drawings.
After receiving the design, they provided us with a detailed quote for the entire project. We were initially hesitant to proceed with such a large undertaking and delayed our decision for several months. When we were ready to move forward, I had several questions about the materials. Andre allowed me to visit a prior project to see their craftsmanship and the materials firsthand, which really helped motivate us to proceed with the project.

I loved working with this company! They built a Dasso deck and staircase and ceramic tile patio for us. They did really quality work, and our deck and patio look beautiful! We really benefited from their advice on the design and materials. They made a real effort to help us stay within our budget. All the staff were professional and friendly. They were very responsive, arrived on time, cleaned up, and were willing to accommodate all of our requests. I plan to work with them again on an additional project.
